BSc (Hons.) Environmental Sciences
B.Sc. (Hons.) Environmental Science is a unique program that integrates the ecological and environmental sciences and imparts knowledge in a range of techniques and technologies connected with the management of natural resources. In keeping with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 college offers electives from a variety of additional disciplines, including economics, computer science, data science, commerce and business management for a holistic understanding of environment, and for achieving sustainability.
The pedagogical approach encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills through coursework, study tours, seminars and research projects that encompass the best of knowledge and practice in the field of environmental management. BSc (Hons.) Sustainable Development Studies
B.Sc. Sustainable Development Studies is an interdisciplinary program involving courses in natural sciences, social sciences, management and health sciences. The course has been structured in a way so as to enable the graduates to learn the nuances of sustainable development practice. The course has been structured keeping natural sciences at its core.
The students will learn field and laboratory investigations required for analysis of various components of ecology and environment using contemporary analysis tools like Geographical Information System, remote sensing, data science etc. They will also be taught field research methodology for social science and management studies.
