About Us

Tribhuvan College, Nalanda University Centre is situated in Neemrana, Rajasthan. The Centre has been established in a public-private-partnership and offers multidisciplinary Undergraduate programs of Nalanda University.

Tribhuvan College encourages and promotes a research paradigm where experiential learning and innovative thoughts are encouraged. The College aims to be an interdisciplinary institution of higher learning incorporating strong regional, national, and international linkages to inculcate a high degree of specialization.

Tribhuvan College offers an array of courses dealing with the varied aspects of environmental management, data science, computer science, management, commerce, and economics, which form the backbone of achieving UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). These courses focus on developing skilled human resources to tackle the environmental challenges faced by humanity.

Nalanda University

Established by The Nalanda University Act, 2010 of the Indian Parliament, Nalanda University is an Avant-Garde postgraduate, research-intensive International University located at Rajgir in the northern Indian state of Bihar. Inspired by its historic predecessor's academic excellence and global vision, the university is supported by all the Member States of the East Asia Summit. ,Intergovernmental Memorandums of Understanding to that effect have been signed by 17 countries, namely, Vietnam, Laos-PDR, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Portugal, New Zealand, Myanmar, Indonesia, China, Cambodia, South Korea, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Australia, Brunei, and Mauritius.

  • Marathon with the theme ‘Run for a Greener Earth’ was organized by Tribhuvan College, Neemrana

    Tribhuvan College, Nalanda University Centre at Neemrana organized its first mini marathon competition on Sunday, January 22, 2024 as a part of its awareness programme towards healthy lifestyle and environment. The theme of this year’s marathon was “Run for a Greener Earth.” The competition was organized under four different age categories for both men and women participants. Prof. J. K. Garg, Director, TEDS., flagged off the marathon from Tribhuvan College campus. More than 100 participants registered online for the competition from all walks of life and participated in the competition. Paramedical staff along with the government security had been arranged in advance in order to face any challenges during the marathon. Prof. Garg handed over a total of 24 medals of gold, silver and bronze to the winners of all the four categories.  He congratulated the winners and thanked all the participants and people who had come from Neemrana and surrounding areas to witness this event. On this occasion, Prof. Garg said that Tribhuvan College at Neemrana is the first centre of Nalanda University setup outside the university campus with a unique mandate to provide quality education to the students in the broad area of environment and sustainable development, computer science, data science, management, commerce, economics. etc.

    Special Lecture on Implications of Sea-Level Fluctuations in Lothal, Dholavira, Submerged Dwarka and Ramsetu- Environmental Lessons for the Future by Dr. Rajiv Nigam Ph.D. D.Sc. Former Chief Scientist and Head, Geological Oceanography, CSIR-National Institute of Oceanography, Dona Paula, Goa was delivered in virtual mode at Tribhuvan College of Environment and Development Sciences, Nalanda University Centre, Neemrana, Rajasthan on 14.12.2023. Dr. Nigam highlighted the impacts of climate change and associated phenomena like sea-level variations as the reason for the submergence of ancient coastal cities. He also presented with conclusive evidences that how once the flourished city like Dholavira, along the Gujarat coast was devastated by Tsunami in the past. Further, he stressed over that such important archaeological sites should be developed as the tourist destinations to increase the awareness about our rich ancient heritage. Dr. Nigam suggested that the students and faculty should visit the nearest archaeological site like Rakhigarhi in Harayana. Prof. J. K. Garg, Director, TEDS. presided over the function. Dr. S. K. Chaturvedi introduced the chief guest and Prof. Seema Mishra proposed the vote of thanks.

    The expert talk on ‘How to live a Healthy Life’ by Dr Seema Prakash Dhoakne, a Naturopathy Doctor
    and Art of Living teacher, in TEDS focused on yoga and incorporating values into college student life.
    By intertwining traditional values with modern approaches to health, the session aimed to inspire
    students to adopt a holistic lifestyle that promotes not only academic success but also overall
    happiness and fulfillment. Emphasizing the importance of both, the instructor elucidated on various
    techniques to enhance concentration, empowering students to navigate academic challenges with
    mindfulness and focus. The instructor highlighted the interconnectedness of physical health and
    mental well-being, emphasizing the role of yoga as a transformative practice. The expert talk thus
    served as a holistic guide for students on their journey to living a healthy, balanced, and meaningful
    life.
