We have meticulously designed undergraduate programs with the following silent features:

  1. Multidisciplinarydesign: Considering the guidelines of the National EducationPolicy (NEP), we have designedour undergraduate programs. At Tribhuvan College of Environment and Development Sciences (TEDS), we have Department of Commerce and Management Studies, the Department of Environmental Sciences, the Department of Computer and Computational Sciences, and the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences.  All the departments offer elective courses which are open for all the students across the departments.  This not only gives our students the choice to optmajor and minor in different domains but also widens their vision and approach to address any real-life problem.
  2. Immersion Program: TEDS has curated its programs to produce responsible managers who can proactivity sense and capture industrial and social problems and come up with sustainable solutions. To sensitize the budding managers to various problems and their interdisciplinarity, we have meticulously knitted our programs with multiple social and industrial immersion  Our students won’t only go for industrial and/or social internships after their second and third years respectively but they will get the opportunity to have a full-day visit and interaction with stakeholders on a regular basis.  Moreover, to developmanagers with immense sensitivitytowardall living being, we have included a few outbound and inbound activities through some renowned spiritual centersas a part of our spiritual immersion program. Hence, we have conceptualized three kinds of immersion programs to ensurethe holistic development of the students.
  3. Research quotient:To evolve from knowledge seeker to knowledge creator is the ultimate purpose of a scholar. We support students’urge to demystify the logic or reasonsfor a particular outcome under the given conditions. Our students will get multiple opportunities topursuetheir research interests. They may opt for a part-time independent research study under any internal faculty member, and also undertake a full-time research project under the guidance of either internal or externaladvisors from industry or academia.
  4. Entrepreneurial stint: To teach the nuances of business or start-up culture, we have imbibed the philosophy of ‘Learning by Doing’. Students will be encouraged to workand nurture their business idea under the ambit ofinnovation and incubation cell.
  5. Blended learning:Students will be offered enriched experiences through blended learning, not only in terms of online and offline interaction with subject-matter experts but also in terms of in-class and on-field engagements. As we are located within the India-Japan industrial corridor, we have the locational and network dividend to offer.
  6. Leadership training: We have planned a few boot campsunder the close supervision of industry veterans and social leaders. These camps are expected to unearth the leadership potential of our students.
  7. Internationalconnects: Another distinctive feature of our BBA program is its internationalization. We have tie-ups with Japan, Singapore, Australia, Germany and other South Asian countries for various collaborative assignments

Overall, we are committed to impart rigorous domain-specific training to the students so that they can opt for either of the following three tracks i.e., higher studies, corporate, and entrepreneurship as per their interests and competence.
